To get the Littleman IT Solutions agent on your Android tablet, your IT admin must first
enable Littleman IT Solutions MDM in the Littleman IT Solutions console (Admin > Apps > Littleman IT Solutions MDM), connect to Android Enterprise, and set up a policy; then, you’ll typically download the Littleman IT Solutions MDM app from the Google Play Store on the tablet, enroll your device using provided credentials or a QR code, and grant necessary permissions for full management.
For the User (on the Android Tablet):
- Get Instructions: Ask your IT administrator for enrollment details, which might include an access code, QR code, or specific instructions.
- Download the App: Go to the Google Play Store on your tablet and search for the Littleman IT Solutions MDM app (or just “Littleman IT Solutions” if it’s the mobile management app).
- Install & Open: Install the app and open it.
- Enroll: Follow the prompts to enroll, which usually involves entering credentials, scanning a QR code, or accepting terms to activate device administration.
For the Administrator (in the Littleman IT Solutions Console):
- Enable MDM: Go to Administration > Apps > Littleman IT Solutions MDM and click Enable.
- Connect Android Enterprise: Follow the steps to set up your Android Enterprise connection, linking your company account to Littleman IT Solutions.
- Create a Policy: Configure your desired management settings (like app management, security).
- Add Device: In the main console, click the “+” button, select Device, choose Mobile Device, and then Android, assigning it to the correct organization and applying your policy.
This process allows your tablet to be managed and secured by the organization through Littleman IT Solutions.
